Poly Phase Day 1

Hello World.

Over the past few years I have had a real problem with sleep, that is I hardly do it and i am always tired though I may not look it. I am averaging about 1-2 hours a night. While using Stumbleupon i came accross an article about the Uberman sleeping schedule. This involves taking a brief nap 6 times a day every four hours for a extended period of time. Basicly my new sleep schedule will be as follows.

1:40am 20 minute nap
2wake up
3
4
5:40 20 minute nap
6
7
8
9:40 20 minute nap
10 wake up
11
12pm

1:40 minute nap
2wake up
3
4
5:40 nap
6wake up
7
8
9:40 nap
10wake up
11
12

Following this I will get 2 hours of sleep everyday. The idea of this method of sleep will be to make my body enter REM sleep as soon as i lye down for bed. Seeing as you only get 90 minutes or so of REM a day it may just work out. I am sure this will be a difficult process but i am willing to deal with that. Anyway here are the events of July 30th 2008.

Took a 20 minute nap from 9:40pm to 10pm. Felt ok although I didn’t dream at all.
